Run For Education

We will be open for coffee and pastries @ 7:30am and full Weekend Breakfast Menu @ 8:00am!

Dust off your athletic shoes and join us for Run for Education. Choose from a 5K Run/Family Fun Walk in San Ramon or a 10K that stretches from Osage Park to Iron Horse Middle School in San Ramon. The run benefits the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation, which raises money to fill in the gaps in funding at each school site of the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. Stick around after the race and enjoy a Fun Fair.

We will have our usual Sunday fare with our Weekend Breakfast Menu, Lunch Menu, and Dinner Menu so come enjoy the festival and a yummy meal (or a drink) at your favorite neighborhood spot!

Downtown Danville comes alive with 200 quality artisan booths featuring crafts, photography, seasonal gifts, clothing and jewelry. The weekend starts with a Children's Halloween Costume Parade throughout the Festival. Local participating merchants jump right in with "Safe Trick or Treating" for kids of all ages. Street musicians, children's games and the ever so popular "Glass Pumpkin Patch".

A street party like no other, Danville’s Hot Summer Sundays Car Shows combine classic cars and camaraderie to create a fun summer celebration. Downtown streets are lined with muscle cars, hot rods, and vintage rides dating up to 1976—some traditional and some sublime—while live bands play '50s and '60s music to people dancing in the streets. You can also browse the myriad of food, drink, and souvenir booths throughout the venue, or stop off in one of the downtown shops or restaurants.

The Danville Devil Mountain Run invites competitive runners, walking enthusiasts, families, and local businesses to strut their stuff for a good cause. Choose from two flat and fast courses, 5K or 10K, and enjoy the fresh air and scenic beauty of the Iron Horse Trail. The event will also host a 1 Mile Elite Run as well as a Kid’s Fun Run with non-competitive 50 and 100-yard dashes for ages 3-8.

Earth Day Celebration

The Danville Library and Town of Danville present a special Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 13th, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  Find free and fun activities for the entire family on the Town Green in front of the Community Center and the Danville Library, 400 Front Street.

This is a free, hands-on and informative event for residents and visitors of all ages interested in learning more about the natural world around you. Activities include:

  • Experience nature with Peanuts…Naturally! from the Charles M. Schulz Museum. Fun, eco-friendly craft and activity stations including solar racing cars, a “rocket” launching station, live worms, dino-dig and more

  • Discover interactive and educational mobile exhibits by East Bay Regional Park District  

  • Learn about the benefits of the new MCE Clean Energy effort and how to opt-up to 100% Clean Energy

  • Explore a natural local wonder with a San Ramon Creek Walk by Friends of the San Ramon Creek
