The Lafayette Chamber and the City of Lafayette are co-sponsors of the 34th Annual Lafayette Res Run for Education, taking place on October 18, 2026.

This event, traditionally held on a Sunday in October, is Lafayette’s most popular “family affair,” bringing together kids, parents, grandparents, and hundreds of serious runners from across the Bay Area. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun. Participants can choose from the 10k, 5k, 2-mile run/walk for fun, or take the Reservoir Challenge!

In 2025, thanks to the success of this community event, the Chamber delivered $37,611 in beneficiary checks to our local public schools.
